Take a paddle around the wild wild West

Why don’t you grab yourself a stand up paddleboard and check out the Rangitahi peninsula over the holidays?

Yip, we are all about outdoor action here in Raglan, and you could easily do it with the whole family.

Not only does Raglan’s coastal setting lure you into a surfer’s dream mecca, but the beautiful harbour inlet provides such a sense of tranquility that you feel like you could be venturing into an untouched paradise...which you pretty much are.

As you know, the Rangitahi Peninsula is surrounded by these peaceful waters, with only moments from the hub, you can have your coffee and cake and eat it too.

Enjoy breakfast amongst the bustling central hub of artists, travellers and boutique shops, then go and grab yourself a paddle board.  There are a few local places to hire them from if you haven’t bought your own.

Forget the car, go and explore the rustic colours, the cool rock formations, the little nooks and cranny’s surrounding this native new zealand wonderland we call Rangitahi.

Take it all in, and dream up a storm.

Hey, you could always chuck a picnic in the backpack too.
