The Raglan lifestyle is one that embraces the outdoors, in every sense of the word! Our community is inspired by nature and our summers are filled with outdoor activities, from kite-surfing, to horse riding, to paddle boarding; there’s something for everyone! With this we bring you Part 2 of our Raglan Summer guide… Make the most of our awesome town this Summer with our activity guide below.

Take the kids for a day trip to the skate park at Kopua Domain

For a great family friendly day out, head down to the Papahua/Kopua Domain. There’s an awesome new pump track & skate park, as well as playgrounds for the young ones, a fish & chip shop and it’s a great spot for swimming or even popping a manu off the bridge if you’re feeling brave enough!

Learn to surf

You’re spoilt for choice when it comes to surfing in Raglan so why not book a surf lesson and join the pros! Hit up Greenwave Raglan, or Raglan surf school down at the main beach!

Learn to Kite surf with the guys at Ozone!

If you’re looking for something a bit more challenging, hit up the team at Ozone NZ and book yourself a kite surf lesson! Raglan just happens to have one of the best spots for Kite surfing, so it’s a popular past time here and pretty awesome watching the guys fly over the waves! Plus you’re guaranteed a good time with the team at Ozone, they also run Isobar in town so your lesson is likely to finish with a drink in their beer garden.

Go horse riding/trekking along Ruapuke beach with Wildcoast Ruapuke
