Help Xtreme Zero Waste fight climate change and continue Raglan's community composting service!

Xtreme Zero Waste is a community enterprise using business as a tool to meet the needs of the Raglan community. At approximately 75% diversion from landfill, they are turning Raglan’s waste into resources and moving forward towards zero waste.

Set up by the community, for the community almost twenty years ago, they are a not for profit community enterprise that is passionate about our community’s wellbeing and the environment. And they are on a mission to continue Raglans community composting service, but they need our help!

With only 6 weeks to raise $30,000, which is just a portion of their longterm fundraising goal of $120k, every donation helps!

Here's the link.

Since the kerbside collection started in August 2017, Xtreme and the community has diverted around 380,000 kilos of Raglan household’s food waste. This means as a community we’ve collectively helped reduce several hundred tonnes of greenhouse gases going into the atmosphere, equivalent to around 84 cars emissions in carbon dioxide.

By continuing this service in Raglan we are helping this town on it's journey to zero waste, helping to pilot the program further to then assist other towns on their waste developments, and most importantly by keeping our food waste out of landfill, we continue to significantly reduce emissions from their air we all breathe!

So let's do our bit, and help shape our future for the better!
